SULLIVAN FIRE DEPARTMENT


Fire protection is provided by the Village of Sullivan Volunteer Fire Department, located at the intersection of County Highway F/Main Street & Pleasant Street. It is funded through tax dollars, grants, fund raisers and contractual agreements with surrounding townships.

These are the different siren alarms you may hear in the Village:
Fire Alarm:           Sounds two times for 1 minute each, with an “up & down” tone.
Tornado Alarm:   Sounds for three minutes, with a “straight” tone.
Noon Whistle:      Sounds one time for 1 minute, with an “up & down” tone.
Tornado Test Drill: Same as Tornado Alarm. Sounds on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 11am.
